Account Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in technology sales. 

Working closely with the Senior Account Manager and company leaders, this job is ideally suited for a high-energy, resourceful individual who is stimulated by the challenge of developing strategic plans which identify profitable business opportunities, and creating actionable plans to address them.

Profile:

  • Demonstrated  exceptional consultative sales skills
  • Ability to craft service solutions that meet business goals based on client needs
  • Proven success with prospecting, building pipelines, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; as well as proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with Sr. Management.
  • Effective, persuasive speaker and writer who can effectively communicate with internal client management and external client groups
  • Self starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision

Duties:

  • Attend training classes as offered or directed
  • Keeping up to date on trends, industry, competitors, etc.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in Security, Virtualization and/or Enterprise Technology sales preferred
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent work experience
  • HP, Microsoft, Novell, VMware, EMC and other Sales Certifications a plus
  • Proven experience in selling networking services and equipment
  • Demonstrated track record generating and closing deals
  • Ability to generate new business opportunities
  • Strong communication skills - computer literacy required.  Experience with ConnectWise a definite plus.
